We have an excellent opportunity for a Sales Support Executive to join our team in Wakefield
You will support the commercial manager, working closely with all departments on daily business operations and also with external partners
We are looking for an individual who has commercial understanding, the ability to work with complex sales data and can also build great internal and external working relationships.
This role may suit someone who has worked in Sales Support or Sales Administration.
Out ideal candidate will be personable and confident in dealing with customers, colleagues and business partners.
Based at our office in East Ardsley, Wakefield with hybrid working.
A car is very useful for getting to the office and we have free parking.
Main responsibilities
Support external partners with issues and queries.
Develop relationships with partners, providing excellent customer service to encourage new and repeat business.
Provide commercial support and pricing for customer proposals.
Support commercial projects.
Develop software renewal strategies to maximise sales revenue across the existing customer base.
Support European and global projects to develop sales opportunities.
Support with tender opportunities.
Analyse sales information to ensure efficient allocation of stock.
Generate audit trails to track changes in key customer agreements.
Generate internal and external reports on key performance trends.
Requirements
Prior experience in a commercial and customer focused role such as sales administration.
Collaborative team player with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
Experience of working with complex sales data and information
High attention to detail.
Proactive approach, keen to make improvements and share new ideas.
Ability to manage workload and prioritise
Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
IT literate with a good working knowledge of standard Office applications.
Knowledge & understanding of SAP is advantageous but not essential.
