IoT SaaS Startup Project Manager/Project Delivery Remote
Job description
We are a fast-growing IoT SaaS startup company and seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager/Project Delivery to join our entrepreneurial team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering a variety of IoT projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Monitor and report on project progress, and make adjustments as necessary to ensure project success
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Communicate project status, issues, and changes to all stakeholders
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Identify and mitigate project risks
- Manage scope change requests and ensure all changes are documented and approved
- Help the company to deliver and be versatile
- Contribute to the company's entrepreneurial thinking and fast-paced growth
Qualifications:
- Proven working experience as a project manager in the IoT or SaaS industry, preferably in a startup environment
- Strong technical background with experience in IoT technology and concepts
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel, and other project management tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- PMP/PRINCE2 certification is a plus
- Ability to work remotely and manage a team remotely
- Ability to think and act like an entrepreneur, be proactive and help the company to deliver
- Have the ability to adapt to the fast-paced and ever-changing world of IoT and be a leader in the field.
