Investment Strategist, Insurance Solutions – London
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Investment Solutions team to support our insurance solutions business. This is a great opportunity for someone who has experience working with insurance companies.
A bit about the job:
This role requires the ability to design investment strategies for insurance companies. This role will also support the insurance centre of excellence (e.g., covering the impact of new regulations), deliver better outcome for existing clients and grow the insurance channel. A large part of the role is to solve problems on an ongoing basis by using existing knowledge and incorporating the latest developments within the market. The successful candidate will work with a wide range of clients, primarily focused upon insurance companies but with the ability to work with pension funds and other financial institutions. As part of their role, they will help to translate client desired outcomes into recommendations of workable investment strategy.
This will be a rewarding role as part of a dynamic and collaborative team. The role offers the right candidate an opportunity to grow their existing investment knowledge through interesting and
challenging client work.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Familiar with the UK insurance market and regulations
- Good understanding of financial markets and institutional investment decision making
- Strong numerical skills with ability to present sophisticated topics to clients
- Pragmatic and client orientated
- High level of integrity and professionalism
