The European Private Credit team is seeking to hire an Analyst/Associate into its Fund Control and Operations Team.
This is a new role for the Team as it looks to build out its Fund Control and Fund Finance functions to support the launch of the strategy. A key element of this is to have an effective liquidity and risk framework to meet the needs and expectations of all stakeholders. The role will support this by focusing important workstreams associated with Deal Closing, Fund Guideline Compliance and Liquidity Management.
The role is wide ranging and suited to someone looking to grow their experience working with a Direct Lending Fund Manager. The successful candidate will have to be a good communicator who is interested in working with a number of different stakeholders both internally and externally.

Team Profile
MSIM Private Equity & Credit has grown its U.S. Direct Lending business to over $10BN in AUM in under three years and are looking to replicate this strategy in the European markets. MS has unique capabilities to penetrate the EU direct lending market due to its strong position in the leveraged finance and private equity ecosystems. As an investment manager for over $1.5 trillion in client capital, MSIM has unique access to capital from institutional investors seeking European private credit exposure.
QUALIFICATIONS
What will you be doing?
1. Fund Finance:
Maintain the Investment Pipeline and be the Operations team primary point of contact with the Deal Team.
Join discussions with the Deal Team and other stakeholders to support deal closing and other investment workflow discussions.
Support other areas of Deal Closing including Allocations and Fund Guidelines Compliance.
Maintain the Platform Dashboard and run cash projections to support discussions for liquidity planning
Liaise with other parts of the Operations team to facilitate an efficient deal closing process
2. Fund Control
Support quarterly reporting life cycle of the fund including:
- Preparation of Fund financials and NAV
- Preparation / Collation of Investor Reporting
- Preparation of the quarterly distribution cycle
Support with investor drawdowns and distributions.
What we're looking for:
Experience within the Financial Services Sector and preferably within Private Credit or other alternative investment products.
Experience of working with multiple stakeholders (internal / external) and demonstratable experience of managing multiple workflows
Knowledge of financial products including Derivatives (FX hedges), Debt, Subscription Facilities and Leverage Facilities
An effective communicator and a proactive approach to finding solutions to meet stakeholder needs
