Job Title: Investment Banking Coverage Specialist

Origination & Advisory combines Investment Banking Coverage and Advisory along with Capital Markets to deliver the most appropriate products to both the C-Suite and Treasurer. Clients include major corporates, financial institutions, financial sponsors, governments, and sovereigns around the world. Our industry expertise covers Consumer and Retail Services, Financial Institutions, Financial Sponsors, Healthcare, Industrials, Technology, Media & Telecom, Natural Resources and Real Estate, Gaming, Lodging and Leisure (REGLL).
Our REGLL team is a market leader in the sector, and you will work primarily within the team on the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) gaming, lodging and leisure platform.

Your key responsibilities
- Conducting origination and execution of corporate finance transactions including Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), Leverage Finance and Equity Capital Markets (ECM) transactions with REGLL clients
- Developing and managing client relationships, as well as relationships across the Investment Bank and Deutsche Bank more broadly
- Generating new ideas that support business direction and utilise product or sector knowledge to guide production of materials presented to clients, advisers, and other bankers, including conducting sector and company research, quantitative analysis, company valuation, credit analysis and financial modelling
- In both origination and execution projects, taking responsibility to communicate with clients and senior investment bankers and other stakeholders, as well as being responsible for mentoring and developing junior team members
Your skills and experience
- Proven client coverage and origination experience, with ability to manage multiple projects. Possessing client relationships and coverage experience in the Gaming sector a plus
- Demonstrated exemplary execution skills, complex deal understanding and structuring capabilities in M&A, Leverage Finance and ECM
- Strong analytical approach combined with creative problem-solving abilities
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills, combined with desire to build long-term trusted client relationships
- Able to drive and influence senior, cross-functional and cross-regional deal teams, interfacing with multiple business partners across business lines and regions
