Job description
Our client acts as an operating partner for institutional equity providers and real estate investors on core-plus and value-add mandates across all sectors, with a focus on the Midlands region. Due to expansion they are seeking an Investment/Asset Manager to join their entrepreneurial team. Main responsibilities include sourcing and analysis of opportunities, assistance in due diligence and closing of new acquisitions, strategic and day-to-day asset management and instruction and supervision of third party agents & consultants. You will be expected to actively develop and maintain a network of relevant contacts in the property market.
You should have an analytical mindset and be able to manipulate bespoke Excel models. Some experience of asset management, valuation, investment and leasing is preferred. MRICS is advantageous. A pro-active and team-oriented approach combined with the capacity for accuracy and attention to detail is a must. The company employs a ‘start-up’ culture, requiring a ‘can-do’ attitude and a collaborative mindset.
This is a unique opportunity to move to the Midlands to work on the principal side as an early-stage employee for a dynamic and expanding investment manager.
