What is the Opportunity?
The Securities Operations department provides custody and settlement services for clients of RBC in the British Isles.
You will manage the Investments Administration team, responsible for updating and maintaining securities portfolios for UK clients, in accordance with FCA CASS rules. You will ensure securities trades, corporate actions, stock transfers and income are processed efficiently.You will be involved in overseeing daily control reports and providing ongoing coaching and support to the team, while promoting operational efficiencies and risk reduction.
What will you do?
Act to provide support and coaching for Investments Administration team members
Process client trade settlement, corporate action and transfer instructions.
Review, investigate and update Stock and Cash reconciliations
Demonstrate understanding of relevant CASS rules and ensure adherence through our standard procedures
Communicate with CASS team to stay informed of regulatory updates and report potential breaches.
Support annual internal and external audit
Prepare and book client FX transactions
Work with wider Operations team and internal business partners, escalating issues to relevant internal parties where necessary
Drive efficiency and risk reduction through reviewing processes and implementing changes where needed

Knowledge and experience of Securities processing and trade settlement.
