Here at GXO Greenford, we are looking for an Inventory Specialist to join our team. You will be keeping a close eye on the ‘ins and outs’ of all things stock, to make sure everything is as efficient as it can be from start to finish.
You’ll be working on an ‘any 5 from 7’ shift pattern, mainly covering hours of 06:00-14:00 but as this is logistics and a 24-hour operation, flexibility to cover alternative shifts may be required from time to time. No Saturdays working!

What you’ll do on a typical day:
Ensure all paperwork is retained and filed within agreed timescales, and stored adequately to ensure robust audit trails are available- Manage document production within agreed timescales, to ensure transport and warehouse productivity and customer service levels are maintained
- Ensuring that data and operational information are maintained on key business systems in a timely and accurate manner
- Collate operational KPI information accurately and within timescales
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Previous Inventory/Stock control experience preferred but not essential- Strong IT skills and a good understanding of the WMS systems and associated equipment
- Good knowledge of the counting and inventory adjustment processes, as well as knowledge of the ordering and releasing functions
- Able to work at height (scissor lift) and in Tri Temperature environment (ambient, chilled, and frozen)
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
