Job description

We are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our longstanding client based in Leeds, just off the M1.

You will be joining a sociable, friendly, and hard-working team with a company that looks after their employees and regularly reward your hard work.

Reporting directly to the Purchase Ledger Manager, your role will be to support the daily transactional running of the purchase ledger. You will be responsible for processing invoices in large volumes and will be competent in managing a busy and dynamic workload.

As the Purchase Ledger Clerk, it will be your responsibility to:

· Process Invoices onto Sage 200 matching with purchase orders and delivery notes

· Request and chase up approvals of invoices

· Follow controls ensuring proof of delivery/approvals are captured

· Support in daily monitoring of the email inbox

· Reconcile statements, requesting documents where required

· Deal with supplier queries and escalate where necessary

The successful candidate will ideally have:

· Experience with SAP

· Sage 200 experience

· Good organisation skills

· Good Attention to detail
