British Airways Avionic Engineering is home to BA’s world class engineering team, and we would like to welcome applications for our latest Inventory Manager vacancy within our BAAE Leadership Team.

The role of Inventory Manager is a key position and is required to manage the acquisition, storage and disposal of BA assets to meet operational demands and financial objectives and budgets. To support current and future organisational goals.

Establish excellent working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders and be able to demonstrate the personal behaviors and professional qualifications as per the lob description.

If you are still interested in becoming part of our talented team and want to be considered for the role, we do need you to meet the criteria below:

You will have:

  • CILT Level 5 professional Diploma in Logistics and Transport
  • CIPS professional stage qualification
  • An appropriate management qualification eg MBA, DMS or ILM would be desirable
  • Comprehensive regulatory approval and technical knowledge
  • Supplier management experience
  • Detailed knowledge of Engineering integrated processes and systems is desirable
  • Understanding of EASA, FAA and CAA requirement in an Inventory environment
  • A working knowledge of exports/imports, relating to aircraft industry (customs and excise)
  • Leading and managing change in a complex business environment
  • Strong regulatory and safety awareness
