Inventory Optimisation Analyst
Our Inventory Optimisation team are now looking for an Inventory Optimisation Analyst to join us in our pursuit to audit, streamline and develop our dynamic warehouse operation. Our Inventory Optimisation department work to manage and monitor the heartbeat of our distribution operation, ensuring we stay ahead of the supply and demand curb.
About The Role
This analytical position plays a pivotal role in the smooth running of the supply chain function. It is an essential part to the team to ensure our customers experience a seamless service.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the inventory and quality checking service levels and objectives are met and the result reporting is prepared and published correctly and on time.
- Stock management, Delivery Error investigations, corrections and resolutions as well as gaining insight on how stock is dispositioned throughout the Supply Chain.
- Working with senior management to understand this insight and to develop actions for improvement to increase the efficiency of the picking process throughout the whole Supply Chain.
- Engaging and leading continuous improvement project activities as well as reviewing existing processes to deliver optimised operations of their department.
- Act as an Integrity Ambassador for all stock movements throughout the internal supply chain and warehousing processes, you will be a role model for the Distribution Operational Teams by actively promoting and demonstrating Harrods standards.
About You
You will be an experienced warehouse professional, with an understanding of how stock moves systematically throughout the Supply Chain. You will be able to discuss how these movements correlate to physical activities as a credible expert. You will have experience working on operational continuous improvements and have experience of using SAP in order to unpick fact, identify discrepancies or potential risk swiftly.
