Join as a Social Impact Intern (12 months)
Description What You’ll DoJoin a fun and flexible team and enhance your skills to build a solid professional foundation. As a Social Impact (also known as Corporate Social Responsibility – CSR) Intern you will:
- Promote Oracle’s world-leading Volunteering Programme with passion and enthusiasm
- Become an advocate for volunteering in Oracle UK and h elp grow our community of volunteers
- Lead your own local and UK-wide volunteering projects, working with a range of charities
- Provide guidance and advice on compliance with local and global policies
- Promote volunteering opportunities through internal communication channels, including quarterly newsletters, inspiring your colleagues to join you in helping change people’s lives
- Monitor employee participation, produce slides and presentations for senior management and key stakeholders
- Co-ordinate strategic planning meetings (agenda’s, logistics, attendees, minutes, actions)
- Assist Social Impact Leads in the running of the programme in the UK
- Benefit from joining a supportive team who will assist your professional and personal development
- Learn how to build effective corporate communications for a variety of audiences, at all levels and across a range of platforms
- Build a personal network of colleagues across teams, organisations and communities around the globe
- Participate in various Employee Resource Groups and communities, including the UK Intern Community
- Practice and improve presentation skills
- Develop software skills using Slack, PowerPoint, Excel etc.
