International Work Experience Coordinator. Study Programmes and Apprenticeships. Full Time. 37 Hours per week. Fixed Term for One Year with a possible extension if further funding is secured.
The College has successfully managed international work experiences for our students for a number of years, previously as part of the EU Erasmus funding, and more recently under the UK equivalent, Turing. The post will have responsibility for scoping, planning, organising, implementing and evaluating international work experience for the College. There will be an expectation to undertake a significant amount of international travel and stay overseas for periods of time, to facilitate the projects.
We are seeking an innovative and motivated individual to join the rest of our dynamic Work Experience Team. Our strategy is to provide our students with the opportunities to gain outstanding work-related experiences in order to build the skills needed to access employment in the future.

You have excellent organisation, planning and communication (particularly persuasion and negotiation) skills, you are good at multi-tasking, able to adapt to change and work in different environments. You use SMART strategies to work efficiently and can competently use Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel, keeping audit-standard documentation and writing a variety of reports for both internal and external stakeholders. You have a good grasp of financial and funding requirements, including the management of budgets and completing funding returns.
You must hold:
- Level 3 (or higher) qualification, or equivalent experience, in a relevant subject
- Level 2 (minimum) in English and maths (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above or equivalent)
We are not looking for someone that has necessarily worked in this type of role before, we are committed to training and developing the right people, with the underpinning experience and attributes to enable us to be successful.
