Dods Training is looking to hire a full-time International Project Manager who will be responsible for ensuring effective project and client management of training deliveries, and study tours of international clients working in governments, development banks, private sector, and international institutions. This role will be reporting to the Senior International Project Manager and will be a member of a team that offers high quality training in the UK and globally through a variety of formats on a wide range of subjects – including public-sector policy making, governance, strategic communications, and public administration.

Key Responsibilities

The candidate will work closely with the Senior International Project Manager, and the overall team in client and project management of training deliveries that include the following responsibilities:


  • Undertake and manage all operations and logistics for delegated international projects and support all phases of project delivery.
  • Meet with clients and be clear on their needs, set and manage expectations and work to increase customer satisfaction through timely delivery.
  • Commission work of trainers and suppliers within agreed parameters and approved by Senior International Project Manager
  • Arrange / coordinate all operational matters for trainers and speakers (visas, travel, accommodation, tours, meeting rooms, etc), as required.
  • Create pre-course gap assessment questionnaires and summary reports.
  • Produce high quality branded training materials from content provided by Dods trainers. This includes liaising with external suppliers, coordinating collateral material design and external print jobs, ensuring event supplies are fully stocked and organised for each event.
  • Support the delivery of online training on platforms such as Teams, Zoom
  • Track and report on project budgets (costs, spend, by stage etc.) in line with the agreed budget.
  • Monitoring feedback data after each delivery and producing feedback reports for clients drawing out trends and making recommendations.
  • Deliver project outputs /staged deliverables to the client, e.g., training designs, materials, and reports, as per client contract.
  • Handling a variety of meeting conversations from potential and existing clients, associates and team members alike.
  • Collaborate and support the Senior International Project Manager and Operations team colleagues in enhancing operational delivery, on both the UK and International training side, always seeking opportunities for further economy, efficiency or effectiveness.
  • Liaising with other departments including Events, Marketing, HR and Finance, as required.

Dods Training is looking for a Project Manager that will manage our international portfolio of clients on a full-time contract of five days a week. The role will be predominantly based in the office, located at Millbank Tower London, but will have the flexibility to work from home.


What we are looking for

Our Ideal candidate will have:


Experience and Knowledge

  • Ideally at least two years’ experience in programme/project/event management
  • Previous project experience delivering or supporting to deliver a high-quality service preferably in training or events and involving international clients.
  • Qualification in project management is desirable.
  • Ideally two-year experience is in account management of clients, donors, or other counterparts.
  • Proficient in full suite of Microsoft Office programs – Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Able to use meeting/training/webinar platforms such as, Teams, and Zoom.
