Are you a strong communicator who loves teaching? Do you have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working across teams to ensure that our international students enjoy the best learning experience?

The role

The Faculty of Education Health & Human Sciences are looking for a Tutor to join our dedicated lecturers by supporting students through their transition to learning in the UK. You will provide group, 1-2-1 and large teaching sessions covering academic writing, study skills and how to develop a critical mind and this will contribute to improving the results of all international students.

Your profile


We are looking for candidates with a proven teaching ability, with a teaching qualification.

You will be confident in supporting international students as they transition from their home country to undertake education at the University of Greenwich at undergraduate and post graduate level.

You will have a can-do attitude and be flexible to meet the needs of the students, working with other student support services within the University and advocate for the student experience at meetings with the Senior tutor and faculty senior staff. You should be expected to contribute in our strategy to support a diverse educational experience by helping us decolonise the assessment process.
