International sourcing agent Halesowen, England
Job description
The continued growth and innovation of our business has lead to us looking to recruit an international sourcing agent.
This role will include global travel - When not travelling you will be office based from our Halesowen branch working with our senior management and production teams.
- The Role
Work closely with sales departments to understand customer needs and source new products to add to our existing product range from around the world.
Ensure marketing departments are well advised on new products coming to market and have the information required to market and promote these products.
Work directly with Head of Buying & Managing Director to source existing products from new suppliers to reduce costs, diversify supply chain and improve quality.
Work with industrial designer / CAD technician to prototype new designs and find new or existing supply chain partners to bring these to life.
Relationship building and development - including site visits of export partners. Expected to travel internationally 2-3 weeks a year.
Monitor and control quality of goods and timely deliveries from new supply chain partners.
Manage the importation of products, including managing freight forwarders, duties and taxes.

Salary: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
