This full-time role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.
The International Student Recruitment team from Global Exeter recruit an International Officer to enhance our university's global reputation, help build effective stakeholder relationships, and attract and develop students with the potential to excel. We engage with stakeholders in the UK and all around the world and have expertise in branding, strategic marketing, event management, digital and traditional media, student recruitment, admissions, widening participation, market research and internal communications.
About the role
Working with colleagues in Faculties and Professional Services you will contribute to the development of recruitment channels to support the achievement of the University's ambitious international recruitment targets.
This post will initially be appointed within Asia Pacific team with market remits in the South East Asia region. The responsible markets and regions may change over the time subject to further review of university priorities and business needs.
University may be able to sponsor this role for a visa if needed subject to meet all the required conditions by UKVI for the successful candidate.
About you
Candidates are expected to have a UK bachelor's degree with relevant experience in a customer facing role. You should relish the opportunity to work on your own initiative but be able to demonstrate a proactive approach to developing team strategies. A knowledge of UK education structures and admissions processes is vital. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent presentation and interpersonal skills along with proven research and statistical analysis skills. This position will require overseas travel with extended working hours.
