Job description

• Provide evidence based occupational therapy (OT) interventions to a caseload of clients to ensure good clinical outcomes. The post holder will be required to work with the client to assess their needs, identify goals for the occupational therapy intervention, to evaluate the outcome and maintain patient records (paper and electronic). This will require the use of clinical reasoning skills. *Provide therapeutic group work to ensure good clinical outcomes.

The post holder will be expected to work alongside OT team, Social workers, Psychology and other MDT colleagues. *Use audit and research to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of the service provided. *It is the responsibility of the post holder to complete risk assessments to ensure that risk in the service is managed and reported as required. All occupational therapy staff are responsible for the safe use of equipment including ensuring the competence of staff, carer and patients.
