International Mental Health Nurse (Inpatient Nurses, RMN)
Location: Sussex
Salary: Band 4 - 5 equivalent depending on experience
Role Type: Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

Our Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is looking for determined and ambitious Mental Health Nurses to join their talented and wonderful team of RMN's, working across a number of their trust locations in Sussex, including Amberstone, Mill View and Meadowfield Hospitals, where you will deliver excellent, specialised patient care across their wards. They are interested in inpatient RMN's that are looking to work on Adult, Inpatient, Older Adult and Dementia Wards.
Job responsibilities and Job duties
- Providing treatment to patients
- Administer medications
- Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions
- Creating and maintain accurate patient records
- Helping to maintain a safe and secure environment for other staff and patients
Person Specification:
- At least 6 months of registered Mental Health Nursing experience
- Passed the NMC English exam requirements (IELTS or OET)
- Nurse and Midwifery Council registration - (application must be in process)
- Passed your Competency based Test (CBT) - but those who have booked this exam will also be considered
- RMNs that have previous experience but are interested in Community nursing are also welcomed to apply
As a newly qualified nurse, you will be expected to enrol on the Trusts Preceptorship Programme following your successful registration with the NMC and having had your PIN confirmed. Preceptorship is a programme of study and support to assist you with your transition to Registered Nurse within the Trust.
