Job description
Fixed term for 2 years, 37 hours per week
An exciting opportunity exists for an International Admissions Officer to join the School of Education and Professional Development and to play an integral role in administering the international admissions processes and supporting the international student experience.
Working closely with the International Office, you will understand the impact of each stage of the admissions process and have experience of working with an electronic record and management system, along with an applied knowledge of Windows based software packages.
You will hold an NVQ Level lll qualification, or equivalent, and have excellent customer service skills, as you will liaise closely with our applicants, overseas offices, agencies and partners, along with departments across the University. The role can often be demanding and will require you to be able to deal with conflicting priorities and changeable workloads in a calm and methodical manner.
We offer an excellent employment package including hybrid working, blending a mix of remote and on-campus working (dependent on work duties).
For an informal discussion, please contact Lyndsy Johnstone on 01484 256663 or [email protected]
If you are a current student at the University, you are welcome to apply for part-time roles of 15 hours or less per week, unless you are a part-time postgraduate student, in which case you can also apply for full time roles, subject to any visa requirements.
