This is a full-time permanent position
Working alongside a wider sales team, you will be responsible for proactively managing a caseload of private training provider customer accounts. Full training will be provided, and we take pride in supporting each other in this fun and dynamic team.
Location - Hybrid – working from home with occasional days in the office (Manchester and/or London). You must have a suitable space to work at home, though equipment will be provided.
Key Accountabilities:
- Account management of a caseload of accounts to ensure customer retention through effective relationship management.
- Delivering revenue growth by supporting potential new customers and maximising leads to sales.
- Spotting opportunities for up-selling and/ or cross-selling.
- Undertake targeted marketing campaigns in collaboration with sales and marketing colleagues to generate demand for the portfolio of products and services
- Work closely with colleagues across the business to deliver a positive end to end customer experience.
- Champion a ‘customer first’ culture across Pearson, ensuring that all decisions are made with reference to the needs of our customers and learners.
- Manage your own learning and development; Stay abreast of product & service developments so that you’re able to engage in meaningful customer conversations
- Other ad-hoc duties when necessary
About you
Desired behavioural competencies:
- Creative thinking and customer empathy: the ability to articulate new propositions based on customer needs
- Relationship building; be able to build a rapport with customers, and work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Data management and reporting skills: you must be able to use data to identify sales opportunities and monitor/report revenue against targets
- Organisational skills: you will be able to work independently to manage your workload according to priorities.
Essential skills, qualifications and experience:
- Qualified to level 3 or above.
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
- Business development and/or sales track record
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
Desirable:
- Hold a qualification in Business, Management or Sales.
- Experience and understanding of the UK education environment.
