The Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity available to offer a 3-year fixed-term contract as an EBVS ECVIM Medicine Resident.
The successful candidate will be involved in managing their own clinical cases, as well as partaking in an out-of-hours rota. The residency includes time off clinics for study. This position comes with a competitive salary, 33 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays per annum and birthday leave.
The closing date for applications is 27th January 2023, with a view to the residency starting in July 2023. Interviews will take place the week commencing 6th February for successful shortlisted candidates.

About Us
Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists is a specialist-led, multi-disciplinary practice in the New Forest with Specialists in Soft Tissue and Orthopaedic Surgery, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, Cardiology, Dermatology and Diagnostic Imaging.
About the Team and Culture
You will work alongside our team of boarded medicine specialists, residents, discipline-specific interns and nurses in the medicine team, within a large multi-disciplinary practice.
Applicant Requirements
Applicants should have a strong and demonstrable interest in internal medicine. They should have already completed a one-year rotating internship and/or a one-year medicine-specific internship. Experience of working in general small animal practice would be advantageous. Candidates must have excellent spoken and written English, as well as good communication skills. Candidates must also be members of the RCVS.
