We’re seeking an enthusiastic and organised Internal Communications Assistant to join our Media & Corporate Communications team.
The successful applicant will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and play a key role in helping to coordinate and deliver internal communications activities, producing engaging content that brings Strathclyde’s strategy to life and reinforces the shared values of the University community.
We’re looking for a good all-rounder, with a keen eye for a good story, excellent copyrighting skills and the ability to build and maintain strong and effective working relationships with colleagues across the University.
The successful candidate will possess an HNC or equivalent in administration, communications or a creative environment and will be based in our city centre campus and operate on a hybrid-working basis, joining a vibrant and cosmopolitan community of over 4,500 staff and 23,000 students from over 100 countries.

Brief Outline of Job:
As part of the Marketing & Communications department, the post holder will play a key role in sharing Strathclyde's story, helping to inspire, engage and educate staff and embed the University’s vision, values and strategic themes.
Reporting to the University’s Internal Communications Officer, you will support the day to day delivery of all internal communications activity to staff; sourcing, creating and managing content for our key channels and using creative, dynamic ways to bring it to life.
