We are currently seeking experienced individual to join as Internal Client Relationship Support Manager (GPB) Global Private Banking. Reporting to the Global Relationship Manager - GPB this role sits within HSBC Asset Management’s (AM) Internal Wholesale. The role holder will focus on relationship management for HSBC Private Bank Wealth teams: contributing to focused initiatives in partnership with GPB. They will also support the growth of AUM (Assets Under Management), sales and revenues linked to Group Private Banking in coordination with other Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) initiatives.
The role holder will have to support the Senior Relationship Managers and work closely with Sales, Investment, Marketing and Product teams to help advance development of the wealth management business and contribute to the development and delivery of AMG’s investment proposition for wealth.
In this role, you will:
- Support the Internal sales channel to develop and track agreed global initiatives for Asset Management with HSBC GPB
- Work together with GPB and local Asset Management Group’s (AMG) teams to develop AMG’s proposition and position it appropriately to reflect the business core strengths in the eyes of clients
- Communicate with key stakeholders on a regular basis. Ensure global strategy communication occurs with regional and local AMG teams
- Support regional and local sales teams in key countries to increase AMG share of GPB business
- Support to deliver discretionary infrastructure for current proposition and new developments
- Relationship / project manage the onboarding of bespoke mandate for Private Banking.
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Proven and progressive asset management or wealth management experience is essential for this role
- Experience of driving business change across more than one business stream and in a multi-cultural environment (B2B Business-to-Business Sales Development) is essential
- Strong commercial acumen and good understanding of Wealth businesses
- Previous Project/Product Management experience
- Ability to generate innovative solutions to drive business performance
- Strong interpersonal and engagement skills; ability to influence and inspire internal and external stakeholders
- Enjoy working as part of a team, collaborating, and coordinating where appropriate.
This is a Hybrid working role with the base location as London. The successful candidate will have to have the ability to commute to this location.
