About the Role:
Are you a qualified internal auditor with CMIIA/CIA or a qualified Accountant?
As Principal Internal Auditor, you will be responsible developing Internal Audit methodology and ways of working.
You will support the Internal Audit Manager, including covering specific responsibilities on an ad hoc basis, managing and providing guidance to various members of the team.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:
• Leading on complex internal audits for key business risks across all business units
• Providing specialist internal auditing capability, both from a technical and subject matter perspective
• Producing factual, concise audit reports in line with Internal Audit methodology
• Monitoring management actions agreed within reports and undertake direct testing to confirm effective implementation
• Providing support and cover for the Internal Auditing Manager, whilst developing the skills necessary to take the next step in your career

This role is part of a team based from our Head Office in Warwick, with a mix of working from home and in the office, you will need to be able to travel into the office on certain days.

About You:
- Be a fully qualified/certified internal auditor with CMIIA/CIA or a fully qualified accountant with ACCA/CIMA/ACA
- Experience in leading internal audits
- Extensive demonstrable experience of risk-based internal auditing
- Advanced expertise in auditing specialised areas (e.g. Finance/Project Management/Contract & Supplier Management)
- Have the skills and experience to step into the Internal Audit Manager role on a temporary basis
