The Role
Dentons UK, Ireland and Middle East LLP is looking for a skilled Innovation Lead to join our talented and growing Innovation team.
Responsibilities
- Lead identification and progress of new legal technology pilots across all practice groups, and implementation of successful pilots.
- Drive adoption of existing tools across all practice groups as a priority, including usage monitoring and ROI.
- Manage highly successful innovation training schemes.
- Manage the Innovation team and build in extra headcount where necessary.
- Lead key priority projects across the firm, for example Generative AI, Robotic Process Automation, Knowledge Management and Document Automation.
- Liaise with our Procurement team and other functions to progress the Innovation onboarding process.
- Support innovation element of implementation of firmwide strategy.
- Manage and chair all monthly practice group innovation committees.
- Manage firmwide knowledge management system in partnership with the Practice Development Lawyers.
- Run weekly innovation drop in sessions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities.
- Represent the firm at industry conferences and speaking engagements.
Required experience, skills, and attributes
- Experience in a law firm setting.
- Knowledgeable about a broad range of legal topics.
- A proven history of effectively supporting AI implementations.
- Experience leading and managing a team.
- Advanced stakeholder management skills.
- Great problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
- Good collaboration and teamwork abilities.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High organizational skills and the ability to deliver multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented and diligent, with a focus on quality results.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt and learn quickly in a diverse environment.
