Interior Designer

CFC Interiors Ltd was established in 1975 and today is one of Irelands leading Interior Design and Home Furnishing Retailers.

Branches are located in Cookstown, L’Derry (Campsie) and Newtownabbey. With accolades such as Ulster Tatler Interior Design Store of the Year and Getting Married in Northern Ireland Best Wedding List provider, this award-winning store has something for everyone.

We are currently seeking an Interior Designer to join our dynamic Cookstown team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual interested in carving a successful career within an independently owned business.

Duties

  • Meeting with customers in their homes or offices to provide interior design advice and guidance.
  • Advising clients on interior design factors, such as space planning, layout and utilisation of furnishings and equipment, and colour coordination.
  • Estimate material requirements and costs, and present design to customer for approval.
  • Merchandising and displaying products in a creative and eye-catching manner.
  • Providing excellent customer service.

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum of 1 years’ sales experience and providing interior design advice.
  • Maths and English GCSE at grade C or above (or equivalent) is required.
  • Ability to sell across the various departments.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately.
  • Excellent numeracy skills in order to calculate required fit/measurements.
  • Positive, ‘can do’ attitude at all times.
  • Capable of communicating effectively and building rapport with customers.
  • Proven ability in satisfying customer needs.
  • A valid driving licence and access to own vehicle to travel between branches and to customers’ homes.

Please note this is a full time position five days per week and requires working on a Saturday and a late night on a Thursday to 8pm.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £20,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
