Job Description

The successful Interim Data Analyst, will be responsible for:

• Data Collection and Cleansing: Identify and collect relevant data from multiple sources, including internal databases, external vendors. Perform data cleaning, transformation, and standardisation processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Data Analysis and Interpretation: Perform advanced data analytic, including data blending, analysis, and modelling. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into data analysis tasks
• Problem Solving: Use data to support investigations, understand how to get root cause of problems, working with SMEs and team members. Review and recommend improvements to processes, data, controls to support improving results
• Data Visualisation and Reporting: Create visually appealing and interactive dashboards, reports, and visualisations using Power BI, Tableau, and Excel. Present complex data analysis findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders at various levels of the organisation. Develop automated reports and data visualisations that provide insights

The Successful Applicant

The successful Interim Data Analyst, will have:

• Experience in tooling (Power Query, Power BI, Tableau)
• Experience Microsoft technology
• Working with Large and Small Data
• Using multiple technologies to achieve outcomes
• Principles of Data Governance and Data Quality
• Documentation and Requirements Gathering
• The Ability to solve problems, develop options and champion change
• You must be able to work on multiple projects at one time, and be able to organise and priorities work

Desirable:

• Experience/Knowledge of Green House Gas (GHG) Calculations and Protocol
• GHG accounting and reporting
• Scope 3 - downstream emissions
• FLAG (forestry, land use and agriculture) emissions
• Data analysis
• Excel - intermediate
• Lateral thinking
