About the Role
Interconnectors System Analyst - Warwick (hybrid working plus travel to Interconnector sites)

As a System Analyst, you will be responsible for the management of our Operational Technology (OT) and local IT.
There are currently three roles we are looking to fill and each will be a specialist in the following areas across our four interconnector sites: Protection and Control, Dispatch and Ancillary services systems. You will have an opportunity to rotate and learn across areas but likely hold a specialism. The role is to take full end to end responsibility for managing certain systems. This includes designing and implementing changes when required, you will manage our suppliers to ensure changes and new designs or systems are implemented. You will work closely with site engineers and operators ensuring training and documentation is updated and maintained when appropriate. As part of the newly formed team, the initial task will be to establish this new capability within Interconnectors working alongside the existing IT (Information Technology) function and Group Security.
What you'll be getting up to
You will be responsible for ensuring that the systems under your purview meet operational and compliance requirements and act as a second line of assurance for one of the other areas. Ensuring systems and their data comply with policy and are maintained and updated in accordance with policy, working closely with the OT engineers, architects and system owners/users.
- Responsible for system changes and design changes in line with business requirements
- Custodian of the system designs, documentation and configuration
- Manage application testing requirements (UAT (User Acceptance) supported by the end-users)
- Supplier management (supported by the contracts team)
- Policy / Standards adherence at a system/supplier level
About You
You will be willing to learn different systems and support the team, having experience on delivering projects with a diverse range of stakeholders would be preferable as the ability to clearly communicate over a diverse range of knowledge bases is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or work-related experience
- IEC62443 or ISO27001 experience would be preferable but are not essential
