A little bit about our team...
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Intelligence Services team within the Chief Security Office (CSO). We (CSO) play a vital role in delivering Lloyds Banking Group's vision of putting customers at the heart of everything we do, helping Britain prosper, and protecting the Group, its customers, and suppliers from security threats. CSO is responsible for defining and communicating the Group's security strategy and providing dedicated support and constructive challenge to business areas to ensure the delivery of an effective and compliant security risk management framework.
The Intelligence Services team generates intelligence outputs in response to global events and security threats. We also produce reporting, to answer intelligence requirements from across the Group to support cyber security incidents, informs major transformation projects, and shapes future security initiatives.
Main responsibilities include:
- Assist Law Enforcement and industry forums with requests for information and issuing timely and secure responses.
- Represent CSO Intelligence Services by performing cross sector collaboration, and share, collate, and disseminate key cyber-fraud trends and intelligence and feed back into the Business.
- Loves to use data and undertakes analysis of data to identify trends and emerging threats and disseminate/present findings to internal and external customers, verbally and via written reports.
- Help manage the team’s shared mailbox.
- Managing the daily collation and processing of ransomware alerts and accompanying data, and flagging issues of concern to relevant Business areas.
- Work closely with both our internal teams i.e. Cyber Threat Intelligence, Threat Modelling, and Economic Crime Prevention teams, and external partners, to help grow relationships to meet our intelligence needs.
What we're looking for...
Essential:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Unquestionable integrity and a commitment to accountability.
- Good working knowledge and experience of Microsoft Excel and ability to simplify complex datasets and display findings and results in a user-friendly format.
- Ability to present key findings and trends to various audiences, including internal and external customers.
- Have a positive and professional attitude and be willing to work flexibly to help the team support the Group.
Desirable:
- Existing knowledge of the Group Data Warehouse (GDW) and/or some technical skills with coding in SQL.
- Some working knowledge of Power BI and other data visualisation tools (IBM i2, Tableau), although training will be provided.
- Awareness of the intelligence cycle
- Has a thirst to improve yourself, adopt new challenges and work flexibly. You maintain an understanding of technology innovation as it emerges and evolves!
