An exciting opportunity is available for an Investigation Analyst to join our South East Regional Organised Crime Unit’s (SEROCU) Research and Analysis Team.
The successful candidate will be required to work as part of our regional Investigation Syndicate for some of the most challenging, but rewarding, investigations into Serious and Organised crime.
As an Intelligence Analyst, the role holder will support effectively and efficiently complex investigations, by managing competing demands and critically analysing vast amounts of information. This is an exciting opportunity providing high-level analytical support to senior operational police officers to assist in the prevention, targeting, disruption and detection of crime.
Using analytical techniques, the role holder will create intelligence products to inform relevant strategic and tactical planning to the standard defined within the National Intelligence Model.
We are seeking to appoint a candidate with excellent interpersonal/communication and good time management skills. Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate will have role-related experience as an Analyst and a good understanding of producing analytical reports and products.
The successful candidate will have a full UK driving licence. There will be a need on occasion to travel across the region and post holder will be independently mobile.
Due to the nature of our work, security is of paramount importance to us and therefore it will be necessary to pass and maintain vetting level SC. In order to achieve this, you must have resided in the UK for the past five years. Exemptions apply for overseas or other diplomatic service (with HM Government), and studying abroad.
