Introduction
My client is looking for a Strategy Analyst to perform market research on current and future competitor and industry trends and collect data on applications and technology solutions to support the acquisition of business pursuits.
My client is a global leading defence organisation who specialise in providing complex engineering solutions to their customers across the MOD and defence sectors.
You will have the opportunity for hybrid working in this contract, with on-site working required 2/3 days per week. You must also hold or be eligible to undergo an SC Security Clearance to be considered for this opportunity.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with capture teams to analyse recent and emerging competitor, customer, and industry trends to determine competitor offers/solutions.
- Develop detailed knowledge of customer buying patterns, competitor bid tendencies, market and environment influences
- Assess competitor technical/business strategies and capabilities and the resulting impact on win strategies, to include pricing and solution/offer design.
- Create business cases to develop competitor bidding strategies to include cost/price modelling and solution estimation/development
- Develop multiple perspectives and support with the development of tailored workshops and timely PTW recommendations, justified with data, analysis and insights.
Skills & experience
- Current or prior defence/MOD experience is essential
- Experience creating business cases
- Knowledge of MOD capture and acquisition tools
- Experience using Shipley capture process
