We are seekingenthusiastic and flexible Integrated Health Care Assistant to help Havering's Community Health and Social Care Service and Community Mental Health teams deliver of24hr holistic health care,supporting our strategic vision of the‘Best care by the best people’
Integrated Care Assistants will assist in the provision of holistic health care, across nursing and therapy, as delegated within their own level of agreed competency, to patients, families/carers in their own home setting. Ideal candidates will possess an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
As a member of our community multi-disciplinary team, you will work within a primary care network team alongside District Nurses, Specialist Nurses, Therapists and Health Care Assistant’s to meet the needs of complex community delivered patient care supporting early discharge and avoiding admissions to the acute sector. A full UK driving licence and access to a car for work purposes is essential.
We are offering both part time and full time contracts and offer flexible working patterns; you will have access to long days or day shifts to support your work life balance..

Probationary Period
This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
High Cost Area Supplement – London
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,108 and a maximum payment of £5,177 per annum pro rata).
