Intake Cell Leader

£12.00 per hour
3 on 3 off shifts 6am – 6pm
Key responsibilities:
· PPT trained, moving pallets into production rotating stock first in first out.
· Move ingredients through the factory into different fridges and freezers.
· Booking in and weighing off all meat, and ingredients deliveries accordingly with Hellenic System.
· Co-ordinating meat deliveries, de-boxing and spice room.
· Ensuring labels are applied to all cases in intake.
· Supporting with loading/unloading
· Managing up to 4 operatives
The person:
- Assertive, keen eye for detail, be able to multi-task and prioritise tasks
- Practical knowledge and background in intake/despatch environment
- FMCG and poultry knowledge preferable but not essential
- Previous experience leading a team – desirable
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- The ability to build a strong sense of team ownership and maintain a high level of morale within the work force
- Energy, enthusiasm, positive, commitment and a can-do flexible attitude
- Embraces change and willing to challenge the status- quo
