WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in an office site

About this opportunity
The External Reporting and Analysis team is the centre of excellence for the production of external statutory and regulatory reporting across a number of regulated and non-regulated legal entities within the Insurance, Pensions & Investments Finance Business Unit.
In this role you'll have exposure to multiple areas of the Insurance, Pensions & Investments business, as well as the wider Banking Group. This provides an excellent opportunity for personal development, career progression, and a chance to make a real difference to the way Finance operates.
As an Assistant Manager, you’ll lead the delivery of Financial Reporting requirements internally and externally for the Insurance, Pensions & Investments Finance Business Unit.
Day to day you’ll;
  • Have responsibility for a number of reporting processes including the month end close, the operation of controls and analysing the result, IFRS reporting and Solvency II reporting,
  • Produce timely and accurate financial reporting,
  • Deliver continuous improvements, including the continued integration of new IFRS17 processes into month end close,
  • Own engagement with and build a great working relationship with key service providers and customers.

  • Qualified / part qualified finance professional with a good track record of personal growth and achievement
  • Strong ability to build relationships and communicate
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills and ability to work independently.
  • Procedural/ Product/ Specialist knowledge
