Key Role:
Bring proven instructional design and curriculum development expertise to maintain our new employee orientation and introductory consulting curricula. Design, develop, and evaluate virtual, hybrid, and in-person learning solutions. Storyboard and build self-paced learning solutions using Articulate Storyline and Rise. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify current and upcoming new hire learning needs. Monitor project schedules and manage project risk. Stay abreast of market trends, best practices, and industry standards to keep processes and methodologies progressive. Foster a team environment of learning, progress, inclusion, coaching, and teamwork. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience with instructional design and creating engaging and interactive learning curricula by applying industry standard methodologies, including ADDIE, SAM, and Agile
- 5+ years of experience with developing courses in Storyline and Rise
- 5+ years of experience with developing interactive in-person courses and corresponding facilitator guides
- Experience with creating training needs analysis, course design documents, instructional materials, implementation strategies, and program evaluations
- Experience in developing and nurturing client relationships and working closely with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, and business leaders
- Experience with managing programs focused on learning and development, onboarding, or people programs
- Experience in presenting to and interacting with stakeholders in a consultative manner
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and project management software, including Microsoft Project
- Ability to translate complex concepts and data into graphically appealing and easy to understand presentations
- Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with creating learning programs for new employees and managing onboarding processes
- Experience with Workday
- Experience with facilitating virtual and in-person learning programs
- Experience with JIRA
- Experience with additional authoring tools, video tools, and graphic design tools, including Captivate, Camtasia, or InDesign
- Ability to navigate in an ambiguous environment with multiple stakeholders and work in a multi-functional, matrixed role
- Possession of excellent analytical, client-handling, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Master’s degree preferred
- Instructional Design Certification or Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP)

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65,300.00 to $149,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
