F.H. Furr is looking for a HVAC Install Helper for our Fredericksburg, VA location.

Responsibilities:

Who/What Are We Looking For?

We are looking for individuals who are mechanically inclined, dependable, and ready to learn the HVAC trade. Our training class will introduce you to the HVAC field and provide you with hands-on experience both in our training lab and in the field with skilled technicians to complete your training. Our HVAC Apprentice class will teach candidates how to:

Install HVAC related equipment according to manufacturer’s specifications
Learn some basic electricity as it pertains to HVAC units
Install copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including soldering and brazing
Install sheet metal and flex duct systems in homes
Properly connect gas lines to heating equipment
Perform an HVAC inspection to company specifications
Diagnose issues with a malfunctioning HVAC system
Make repairs to an HVAC system
Recommend and install IAQ products where the opportunity exists
