Sportsafe offers supply, installation, inspection and maintenance of sports and fitness equipment to more than 10,000 customers from the Shetland Isles to the South Coast in the UK including primary and secondary schools, private schools, sports centres, care homes, county councils and fire, police, and NHS authorities. The company is ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO45001 Safecontractor, CHAS and Constructionline Gold accredited and registered with AFPE and ROSPA.
Due to Continued growth and contract awards Sportsafe UK are looking for a Field based Service Engineer located in Aberdeen or within a 90min travelling time.
We are looking for a competent Field Service Engineer who has worked within the industry or has the capabilities of learning the role and post quickly. The Field Service Engineer must be able to work on his/her own initiative and at the same time ensure that they become part of the overall Sportsafe team.
The role encompasses servicing & maintenance of equipment, working at high levels for repairs and installations in gyms and sports halls. The role also encompasses the surveying of gym, outdoor and sports hall equipment for quotation on new orders and repairs. This is a high-profile role dealing with major clients and to this the individual must be presentable, IT literate, tidy when working, have a basic knowledge of sports and gym equipment and finally have great customer care skills. The ability and willingness to work alone and as part of a team are key to success in this role.
This is a Field based role and will require an element of lone working

The individual should possess the following
- Full clean driving licence
- Be prepared to undertake an Enhanced DBS check
- Be computer literate
