Job description
We’re Ocado Retail. We’re the people powering Ocado.com, the UK’s fastest-growing grocer, and Zoom by Ocado, our almost-as-fast-growing, same-day grocery service.
As the world’s biggest and best online-only grocer, we work tirelessly to bring more of what matters to our customers: unbeatable range, fair value, and effortless convenience.
Our business is a joint venture between Marks & Spencer Group and Ocado Group. It’s a successful combination of award-winning customer service and unrivaled customer data; world-leading technology and logistics from Ocado Group, and unrivaled product development from M&S. We’re the largest online-only grocery in the world, and we’ve got huge plans to grow even bigger in the next few years.
We’re an exceptional and mighty bunch of colleagues who are inspired by our three awesome values: Always be curious, Bring your best self, and Challenge what's possible. We’re growing fast, and we’re looking for like-minded people to join us for the next step of this incredible journey.
Our graduate scheme will give you a broad understanding of the whole business but is divided into four distinct streams covering our key functions in Buying, Marketing, Finance, and Insight to ensure you will finish the scheme with the skills needed to move into a full-time role.
The streams come together for induction into the whole business at the start of the scheme, as well as regular learning and development sessions (and of course the odd social event!). We ask that you only apply to one scheme.
Across all the streams we look to give you responsibility from day one as we believe the best way to learn is by doing, though we’ll be here to support you the whole way. So if you are looking for an exciting first step into retail at a fast-growing business, this is the scheme for you.
The Insights Graduate Scheme
The Insight team is at the heart of the Ocado retail – from advising the buying team on promotions to run and products to the range, to understanding how our customers buy their weekly shopping through to building models for new loyalty schemes and personalised marketing campaigns – data and insight are critical to everything we do. Our analysts become experts in the business function they support and develop the skills to produce great insight.

- Analytical, and data-driven individual who can build relationships to deliver the best results to our clients and customers.

What you’ll be doing

- Within each rotation, you’ll be an integral part of the team, delivering on key projects for the team and wider business
- After each rotation, we will discuss your preferences for your next placement and try to match your needs with those of the business
- During your final rotation, you will be encouraged to apply for permanent roles
What We Will Be Giving You
- As part of your onboarding, you will meet your support team; this consists of your Department Coach/Mentor, Business Coach/Mentor and HR Business Partner - they will support with the facilitation of successful learning outcomes along with general day-to-day support and guidance
