The Role: Reporting into the Customer Insights Manager, you will mine and analyze large data sets from Mulberry databases and 3rd party providers to find opportunities, drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies. You will use your top-level analytical skills to support our growing customer insights & business intelligence team. You will provide strategic support to our product, sales, leadership, customer experience and marketing teams with insights gained from analyzing company data, working on existing and new customer data projects on a global scale. Duties & Responsibilities: Data Analytics: · Prepare and analyze data from GCP (Google Cloud Platform) databases using simple querying languages, data visualization tools or/and Excel. · Test and track initiatives with A/B testing, pre/post campaign performance across different customer types and lifecycle. · Analyze, synthesize data from different sources and present insights to stakeholders that are digestible. · Connect the dots from data with compelling storytelling, track brand/ channel performance, inform learnings and action plans to grow Mulberry's global customer volume and revenue · Contribute to driving a data-driven, omni-channel and customer centric culture across teams. Web Performance Analytics: · Provide insights on customer journeys across our key funnels (traffic to site, conversion, add to cart, purchase etc.), work with other stakeholders to optimize untapped opportunities and improve business outcomes, via deep dive analysis on customer segments, product viewing and purchase behaviors. · Contribute to a center of excellence for Digital Analytics, providing day-to-day support to Digital Marketing, Trading and Customer Experience teams, including ad-hoc customer list extractions, dashboard troubleshooting. Reporting: · Support the improvement of automated report (weekly, monthly) for customer insights and digital marketing teams. · Validate and create dashboards adopted to business needs (e.g. compare GA4 vs UA metrics, establish new report connections from UA to GA4). · Represent the voice of customers to inform decision making and infer action plans from customer insights in weekly digital trade meetings. Assist in the preparation of monthly board reports, voice of customer reports, and ad-hoc campaign reports. Trends & Innovation: · Stay on top of, and proactively sharing trends in Analytics, machine learning and the wider digital landscape. · Share wider customer, industry and competitor landscape by market. Duties & Responsibilities: Data Analytics: o Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint is a must. o Experience with data extraction using basic SQL from Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a bonus. o Ability to utilize different data visualization tools (e.g. Google Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau). o Knowledge of different marketing attribution models. o Good presentation skills with compelling storytelling. Web Performance Analytics: o Understanding of Marketing and Digital performance metrics. o Previous experience using or knowledge of Universal Analytics (UA) or Google Analytics (GA4) is a plus. o Knowledge of using digital experience platforms, such as Content Square. · Degree standard or equivalent with a Digital/ Statistics/ Mathematics/ Data Science or Marketing. · Highly motivated, enthusiastic individual with 1-2 years' experience working with data, in a multi-disciplinary, collaborative, fast-paced environment, with a 'can do' attitude. · Happy to have a 'hands-on' approach to work across a wide variety of tasks. Fast learner, comfortable in dealing, analyzing, and drawing actionable insights from large databases with a logical analytical framework. · Analytical, solution-based mindset, capable of critical thinking and creative problem solving. · A drive to self-learn and master new technologies and techniques proactively. · Passionate for discovering insights hidden in large data sets and collaborating with different teams to improve business outcome, at the same time able to work independently. · Ability to challenge the integrity of data sources and data quality. · Numbers-savvy, excellent attention to detail. · Customer oriented, with a keen interest in retail, particularly within the luxury sector. · Experience in consultancy is a plus.
