Highsnobiety's Research and Insights function plays a critical role that spans all parts of our business. The scope of the team is vast; from fueling our brand partners with audience insight, to advising on key decisions about our own brand and retail offering, to working on insight-led publishing projects which have become a key part of the Highsnobiety brand.
The Insights team works hand in hand with the Strategy team and plays a critical role in brand client projects, as well as our B2C business, building the foundation to grow the commerce business and serving our community in the best possible way. In addition, the team is responsible for managing and generating value from HS Rolodex - Highsnobiety's consumer panel - a global network made up of the brand's most loyal and culturally engaged individuals.
YOUR MISSION:
- Be a research-driven problem solver
- Produce actionable consumer and cultural insights - delivered in a compelling way - that steer the strategy team in pitches and larger projects
- Stay abreast of trends relating to fashion and style spaces and be able to explore new industries and categories which are adjacent to these spaces; to create sharp opinions on these spaces quickly
- Be passionate about understanding culture and pushing brands to be better
Responsibilities:
- Supporting strategy team and executing research element of pitches and strategic projects
- Supporting larger research and insights projects
- Being curious and having a passion to understand a broad range of cultural verticals
- Conducting research for pitches, consumer insight studies, market analysis, and thought leadership content
- Leading qualitative research (one-on-one interviews and panel discussions)
- Launching research projects with our HS Rolodex
- Analysing data to create consumer and industry insights
Day to Day:
- Assist strategy and research teams to create and deliver client presentations; write clear and inspirational content that articulates (through visuals and copy) trend, consumer and client futures
- Draw insights from research and articulate key findings relating to strategic objectives
- Quickly and effectively analysing and presenting data and qualitative insights to influence strategies
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of each client's category, business and objectives
- Present to clients in a confident and productive manner
- Regularly manage, brief and liaise with our HS Rolodex
- Stay on the pulse of culture and trends
YOUR SKILLS:
- 1-3 years relevant experience at a brand or agency
- Fluent in a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies (e.g. field studies, interviewing, questionnaire development and survey research, and competitive benchmarking)
- Have the ability to travel
This roll will be reporting to Insights and Research Director.
