Job description

Our Women in Technology & Engineering Insight programme is aimed primarily at women who want to discover more about a career in Technology & Engineering at KPMG.

Technology is at the heart of what we do and part of the very DNA of our business. Our tech teams have the access, capability and connectivity to make possibilities happen, blending tech and business expertise to solve complex problems that help our clients and communities to thrive.

We’ve invested in a team of over 2,000 technologists; creating a step change in the way we work. Delivering broader, deeper expertise to our clients faster than ever. Our connected solutions stretch across a range of specialisms. From tech strategy, risk management and data & analytics, through to software engineering, cyber automation, powered applications and cloud transformation.

During this 3-day paid programme, you’ll have the opportunity to network with inspirational women from our Technology & Engineering teams, gain an insight into the variety of tech-enabled projects we work on, build your professional skills and explore the range of career opportunities available in one of our fastest growing areas at KPMG.

The 3-day programme is packed with practical takeaways and valuable insights - from making the best impact with new contacts to effectively navigating your early career. We’ll give you an insider’s view into the range of industries we work in, our technology services, and the technologies we’re using – such as artificial intelligence, Cloud technology and machine learning. You’ll learn how we use technology to help our clients with some of their most complex issues - from cyber security to managing business risks.

Whilst on the programme, you’ll have the opportunity to take an assessment, and if successful, you could secure a position on our 2024 Technology & Engineering Vacation programme in the office you have applied to.

Candidates must be in their first year at university (or second year if you’re on a 4 year course). We’re looking for individuals from any degree discipline who are curious, ambitious and motivated to work in this expanding and dynamic field.

And if you're inspired by the time you spend with us here and go on to join us full-time once you’ve graduated, you’ll get access to exemplary training and development to help you thrive.

Additional Information:

This is a 3 day paid Insight programme and will run 27th – 29th June, 2023 inclusive. You will be paid a salary equivalent to the living wage salary.
