Inside Sales Representative (ISR - Freelance)

**Important: Working Availability between: 6am - 6pm PST. At least an 8 hour overlap required. An 8 hour shift will be agreed upon following hire.**

Strong command of the English language (written and spoken) is a must.

We are one of the largest US solar distributors, we envision a world where solar isn't just the cleanest choice for power: it's the obvious choice. The Inside Sales Representative will be a contractor driving inside sales, is responsible for follow-up and management of accounts, developing new leads, and communicating pre and post-sales with customers. Inside sales is a growing new part of the Soligent sales team.

Work Scope:

  • Sources new sales opportunities through outbound calls and emails.
  • Communicates with customers, makes outbound calls and/or emails to potential customers, and follows up on leads
  • Understands customer's needs and identifies sales opportunities
    • Able to identify higher-level customer needs in order to pass off to senior partners
  • Address customer concerns, seeks out and finds correct solutions
  • Identifies qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales team members for further development
  • Tracks and reports out on sales activity utilizing NetSuite, Excel, and Google Suite
  • Interacts with customers via email, phone or video call
  • Responsible for driving customers to Soligent's e-commerce site for a demo
  • Is responsible for attending all trainings and product updates
  • Researches accounts, identifies key players and generates sales interest
  • Creates, maintains and expands a sales pipeline
  • Responsible for creating quotes, follow-up, closing, and tracking conversion rates
  • Explains and demonstrates features of products and services to customers
  • Co-selling with strategic partners our products and services
  • Researches and qualifies new leads
  • Closes sales and achieves sales targets along with KPI's
  • Identifies, documents, and implements opportunities for continuous improvement
  • All other duties as assigned by the manager

Skills Required:

  • Minimum 2+ years of related sales experience (ie outbound/inside sales)
  • Strong communication skills via video, phone, and email
  • Strong command of English language
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with customers, colleagues and/or suppliers
  • Exceptional time management skill to manage one's own time and the time of others
  • Computer skills with MS Office software with demonstrable working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, V-lookup, etc)
  • Experience with Google Suite, including email, calendar, sheets, and drive
  • Proficiency in a CRM (customer relationship management) tool (i.e., Salesforce, NetSuite)
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP/DRP systems a plus - NetSuite preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate problem-solving and sales-closing techniques
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Commitment to an excellent customer experience
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Ability to exercise strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to act as a flexible and innovative team player
  • Flexibility of schedule within defined parameters
