Job description
Rhino Recruitment are proud to be working with a UK based Engineering Consultancy, one of the largest in the North. I am looking for a talented Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their team and help them design and prepare drawings for surface water, sewer networks and external ground levels in the residential and commercial sectors.
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for all aspects of designing and preparing highway designs, including both vertical and horizontal geometry. You will work closely with their team to ensure that appropriate service and design decisions are met. You will also be responsible for ensuring that project work is carried out within agreed deadlines and within budget.
They are looking for a candidate with a strong technical skills and experience in AutoCAD, PDS and Microdrainage. You should be proficient in designing Highways and Drainage. You should also have a Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Civil/Structural engineering or alternatively, be chartered/working towards chartered status with ICE.

Responsibilities
- Communicating with Directors on relevant service/design decisions
- Ensuring that the objectives of both the client and company are achieved.
- Working with specialist software for drainage and infrastructure.
- Designing and preparing drawings for surface water, sewer networks and external ground levels in the residential and external ground levels.
- Embracing CPD, self-learning and personal development
Qualifications
- 5 years’ experience working within Infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of AutoCAD, PDS and Windes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part a team.
- Ability to take initiative and solve problems.
