Facilisgroup LLC is a leading technology provider in the Promotional Products (promo) industry, building software-as-a-service solutions that help promo distributors be more efficient and grow their sales. Over $1 billion in sales are processed through organization’s technologies annually.

We are growing our Infrastructure and Security team. Reporting to the Vice President of Infrastructure and Security, the Infrastructure Engineer will monitor, maintain, and administer over IT environments, working with other team members to sustain efficient, secure, and reliable platforms in alignment to regulatory and industry best practices.

As part of the Technology division, the Infrastructure Engineer will work across Facilisgroup’s technology landscape, supporting our Product, IT, DevOps, Security and Engineering teams for infrastructure requirements for both on-premises and cloud environments. The successful candidate must demonstrate a sound understanding of technology infrastructure, security, and hosting services to ensure our products are available, stable, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain IT infrastructure aligned to meet business requirements, including hosting services, network connectivity, redundancy, performance, and storage.
• Develop and maintain up-to-date design, build, and process technical documentation.
• Continuously enhance the reliability, security, and operations of the organization’s infrastructure and products.
• Collaborate with members of the Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Security teams as well as other Infrastructure team members to develop and support products.
• Support day-to-day operations and /or incident management in alignment to established service level agreements, including after hours and weekend support as needed.
• Take lead in troubleshooting infrastructure related issues proactively to ensure stability, support, and service delivery excellence of products.
• Investigate SOC generated alerting and respond accordingly in a timely manner.
• Work closely with the DevOps team as well as other Infrastructure team members to assist with the automation of workflows.
• Stay up to date on new and upcoming technologies that can be incorporated into the company’s technology strategy.
• Creation of appropriate dashboard reporting for performance monitoring and logging.

You bring with you:

• Strong IT infrastructure knowledge with understanding of hybrid cloud environments.
• Demonstrated experience in networking, server administration, system hardening, automation as well as identity and access management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory and Virtualization.
• Recognized networking certification or qualification.
• Fluency with scripting languages such as SQL, PowerShell and Javascript.
• Ability to build rapport and trust quickly to support fast-paced DevOps and Engineering teams within Agile processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for collaboration and developing team relationships across the organization.

Experience and Qualifications

• 7-10 years’ experience in IT with at least 3 years in infrastructure support.
• A bachelor’s degree in a computer or technology-related field and/or equivalent years of education and experience working in a related field.
• Demonstrated experience working in a dynamic environment dealing with complex problems and communicating across various levels of the business.
• Experience with on-premises and cloud infrastructure platforms including support.
• Demonstrated success working with internal and external stakeholders.

Good to have:

• Experience working with Linux Operating systems.
• Experience and /or certification with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure is preferable.
• Experience working in a SaaS or software development industry.
• Working knowledge of open-source technologies such as Redis and the ELK stack.
• Good working knowledge of ITIL and ITSM processes, specifically Problem Management, Incident Management, Service Requests, and IT Asset Management.
