The role
As a Cyber Monitoring Analyst, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will support day-to-day operational cyber monitoring activities using security tools including Splunk, Cribl, Solarwinds, EPO, Eracent, and Tripwire, ensuring the hosting environments remain secure.
Day to day, you’ll work closely with our client to keep security patching up to date and interface with corporate and our client’s SOC security teams. Other responsibilities you will undertake are as follows:
- Using established security tools including Splunk, Cribl, Solarwinds, McAfee EPO, Eracent, and Tripwire.
- Ensure high levels of security on the supported data center platforms.
- Maintain the health of all monitoring tools and develop and tune toolsets as required.
- Perform cyber monitoring infrastructure maintenance, including configuration, troubleshooting, technical design, upgrade, and patching.
Essential experience of the Cyber Monitoring Analyst:
- Experience using Windows and/or Linux operating systems, with good IT system administration skills.
- Understanding of applying cyber monitoring capabilities/tools to hosted applications and IT systems.
- Experience in network/switch/firewall management and configuration.
- Some knowledge of VMware vSphere/ESX infrastructure.
This is a full-time, permanent, on-site role based at our Keynsham office.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance level for this role.
