Infrastructure Analyst
Glasgow
As a Barclays Infrastructure Analyst, you will be a part of Transaction Monitoring team within Wholesale Onboarding Business area and you will get an opportunity to showcase your expertise in implementing financial institutions that have the inherent ability and responsibility to comprehensively understand each of their customers and the expected transactional behavior. As such, the banks automated Anti – Money Laundering solutions aim to detect any suspicious behavior by carrying out targeted monitoring as an enduring process.

What will you be doing?
- Setting up end-to-end infrastructure as per design, by coordinating with the team
- Managing the infrastructure, Such as OAT, DR & PROD
- Dealing with different component teams through change & incident management processes to implement the design changes or to troubleshoot the issues
- Building and operating applications environment over different Cloud platforms
- Implementing or assisting enterprise level applications
- Analysing and evaluating problems and technical issues and testing, maintaining, modifying, integrating, monitoring and planning to automate infrastructure delivery
- Providing general framework plus environment to assist application developers and maintain activities
- Working closely with Financial Crime Tech stakeholders, Transaction Monitoring Business, Solution Designers, Architects & other component teams
What we’re looking for:
- Solid experience in financial services or highly regulated industry
- Experience in DevOps tools like Nolio, Jenkins, TeamCity, Gitbucket & Nexus
- Solid Experience in Chef (Infrastructure as a code) and knowledge in developing scripts to automate all manual tasks using Ruby & shell scripts
- Exposure to JIRA, ServiceNow, Remedy
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Experience in Financial Crime or Compliance
- Background in Anti Money Laundering (AML) domain
- Solid knowledge on Linux, Oracle Database & Tomcat 7
- Exposure to Shell scripting
