We are looking for an Information Technology Support Specialist to join the team here at Unily, providing support to our 300 talented colleagues worldwide as we continue to grow. You will work closely with the Technical Operations Manager, ensuring reliable and efficient operation of office systems and networks whilst looking ahead at continuously looking at innovative ways to improve company IT via processes and systems.
Main Responsibilities
Day to day responsibilities for the Information Technology Support Specialist will include providing support in the following areas:

  • Establish and improve processes around device management, security, support, and other areas of IT
  • Act as subject matter expert supporting primarily Windows, macOS, iOS, and applications such as Microsoft, Adobe, and cloud SaaS products
  • Perform laptop setup and inductions for users, hardware troubleshooting and repair
  • General office IT such as conference room, telephone, and printer setups etc.
  • Implementation of applications and software upgrades, as well as performance troubleshooting and tuning for users
  • Communicate and document troubleshooting techniques and best practices.
  • Perform endpoint management deployment and anti-virus security.
  • Participate in the development and delivery of training programs when necessary.
  • Work with IT leadership to constantly monitor and improve delivery of IT systems and support
  • Proactively understand, analyse, and research new technical problems when needed
  • Network hardware setup and maintenance
  • Knowledge of IT Security, best practices, and procedures
  • Work with the IT team to integrate newly acquired companies along with their technology
  • Provide support for new office openings / moves
  • Work with colleagues and external partners to deliver projects, optimise how we use technology, and enact positive change
  • Establish and nurture a culture of learning, knowledge sharing, and iterative improvements — always looking for the next big step forward
  • Own and nurture relationships with external partners effectively, and make sure we get the most out of those relationships

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Needed for the Job

  • 2+ years of experience within IT or B.S. degree
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365
  • Experience with Intune\Endpoint, and enterprise Mac & Windows management concepts
  • Professional knowledge of corporate Wi-Fi and security.
  • Experience with end user customer support with knowledge of macOS, Windows, and other Microsoft products
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work on multiple assignments.
  • Ability to use customer-service oriented techniques to determine and resolve problems, and respond competently with the appropriate sense of urgency to user requests

  • Email security / monitoring with Office 365
  • Exposure to ticketing systems such as ServiceNow
  • Conferencing / collaboration technologies such as Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Exchange Online

  • Microsoft Deployment Technologies (MDT)
