Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to be Onsite/Hybrid with our customers in Atlantic City, NJ. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• Perform enterprise security gateway access control, baseline configuration management, and system performance testing to ensure requirements compliance.
• Client is seeking a talented Information Security Systems Engineer to support the test, development, deployment, and on-going support of a nationwide, mission-critical communication system.
• You will be working to help support the global aviation community with advanced systems and services that significantly increase the safety, security, and capacity of global air traffic management systems to meet the growing demand of air transportation operations.
• Act as engineering support to network security operations for the testing and configuration of new information security products and services.
• Perform lifecycle testing and operational support on Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)-based security architectures to maintain compliance with customer-tailored National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) security controls.
• Be able to explain complex issues, data streams, and packet analysis to the customer in a way they can understand.
• Be able to perform packet captures and analysis of packet captures to identify anomalous behavior and traffic patterns.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $69/hr

Hours: 40hrs/week (1st shift)

Length: Temp to Direct (6 Months)

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Minimum of 9 years experience with security technology management, including system testing, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting in a global enterprise environment.
• Minimum of 9 years experience integrating large complex multi-vendor solutions.
• Minimum of 9 years experience in OSI model and TCP/IP-based networking architectures and communications

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Master's Degree
• Advanced certifications such as CCNP Security, and CISSP.
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting security gateway solutions including Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
• Experience creating and maintaining site-to-site and client IPSec/VPN solutions
• Experience serving government customers in a security environment.
• Experience in FAA National Airspace System (NAS) telecommunications or air traffic management

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: Up to $69.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
