Job Title: Information Security Administrator

Location: IT Department, 57-59 Bath Road, Reading, RG30 2BA

About the Trust

We’re a community and mental health trust, providing a wide range of services to people of all ages living in Berkshire. And to do this, we employ approximately 4,500 staff who operate from our many sites as well as out in people’s homes and in various community settings.

What you’ll be responsible for:

· Support the Information Security Team with an on-going project to provide cyber-security assurance from IT suppliers for their systems and software.

· Liaise with Berkshire Healthcare staff across the organisation as well as suppliers to gather security information on a security questionnaire and keep records of the responses which will be used to formulate response plans.

· Provide and maintain a good service with accurate record keeping.

· Maintain awareness of relevant Trust policies and protocol and that service administration is in line with these policies.

· Identify any areas of concern and inform the line manager.

You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You’ll have the following skills/experience:

· Excellent communication skills- both verbal and written

· Microsoft office skills- Outlook, Word, and Excel

· Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

· Previous admin experience

· Previous NHS experience
